It is 18K Yellow Gold Diamonds Dial Rolex Daytona Replica Watch, the dial is pavé diamond-set, the numerals are sapphires, the bezel is set with baguette diamonds, and oh, the sub-registers? Yeah, they’re purple! Only eight pieces were produced, all for his Majesty, and the last time one came up for sale, it brought about a milly.
Being that it’s Oman National Day, I was reminded of some photos I had taken not long ago – actually the day Alfredo Paramico came by the office to film an interview about owning the now $11 million steel 1518. The photos are of two Daytonas, both of which belong to Alfredo, and both of which were made for his Majesty Qaboos Bin Said of Oman. They are indeed, two of the most rare, expensive, and patently absurd Daytonas on planet earth – and we have them next to each other.
So what is the 6270? It’s arguably the most expensive Diamonds Dial Rolex Daytona Replica Watch ever made by Rolex. Today is the Oman National Day – bet many of you did not know that. But it’s true – the day marks Oman’s independence from Portugal in 1650, and is celebrated by way of a two-day break and several state-organized events, including parades, fireworks, camel races, you name it.
They are absolutely the type of Rolex Daytona Replica Watch that you would imagine being commissioned by the Omani royal family, and to Alfredo, they far surpass the steel watches made for Oman in terms of style and importance. Look at that dial!
What’s more, these are manually wound Daytonas! This isn’t some self-winding 1990s stuff, this is the real deal! All luxury fake Rolex Daytona 6270s were retailed originally by Asprey in London, as is common with royal commissions.
One of the two watches is made even more special by what is on the back – a deep enamel engraved khanjar superimposed on two swords, which is the national emblem of Oman (the khanjar is a hook-shaped dagger, thought to have originated in Yemen). Alfredo tells us this is the only known example of the 6270 with such an engraving on the caseback.
Now we’ve long held that there might not be a more versatile watch than a manually-wound Daytona because of its case size, and with very special watch, we just might have the holy grail of boyfriend-girlfriend watches.
Oh, and yes, one of these watches was the property of London-based dealer Tom Bolt and was featured here on Four Rooms. And now you know the full story of the Rolex Daytona 6270.
There were only eight of these watches produced, and the market knows where five of them are. Two of them, of course, are right here. Now this watch is not for everyone, certainly, but these 1980s watches are very special no matter how you look at that.
These remarkably rare Rolex Replica Watches are currently in the collection of Alfredo Paramico – because of course they are – and I wanted to show them to you today simply because they are among the rarest and most high-craft replica Rolex watches ever made, and whether they are to your tastes or not, it’s important to know what’s out there.
